Dr. Kiruthiga Devi has more than a decade of experience as a physician.

Dr. Kiruthiga Devi graduated with an M.B.B.S(Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) from the most prestigious and top ranked university Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) India in 2006 and after her initial years of working at different hospitals across various countries she decided to embark on her journey towards becoming a passionate Resident Physician.

Dr. Kiruthiga Devi is a meticulous physician who is highly motivated and dedicated. Having accumulated over 16 years of experience in Primary healthcare handling patients across various disciplines of Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This rich experience is an amalgamation of having served in urban, rural, private and Government healthcare systems.

From 2009 – 2022, approximately 14 years, she has been serving the community patients at NHGP Yishun Polyclinic. In 2009, she started her journey in Singapore as Medical Officer in Yishun Polyclinic and after undergoing training in Family Medicine she became Resident Physician in 2012. Her comprehensive holistic approach towards diagnosis and treatment has helped several of her patients to recover and learn to lead a healthier life. She earned the trust of many patients who felt they could communicate with her comfortably and this enabled them to share both the physical and psychosocial impact of their medical problems. During this time, Dr. Kiruthiga Devi gained the reputation of being a compassionate, patient, and competent family doctor from her patients, senior doctors and have been complimented for her professionalism.

She has been awarded by the senior doctors and the organization for her loyalty and valued service. Awards: Critical Talent Special Recognition Award 2012, Public Healthcare Clinician Special Recognition Award, Long Service Award 5 Years 2015, Long Service Awards 10 Years 2020, and most importantly iCare Service award which is from patients’ feedback.

In her earlier professional days (2006-2008), she was serving as a Junior Resident at Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Science, India for a year followed by serving a couple years in a private hospital at Sri Lanka.

She is now the senior Resident Doctor of AN Medical Clinic@AMK and continues to serve patients with the same competence, professionalism and compassion that have defined her career thus far.
